My vacation's been long but pretty "kewl". It started off with fastball, one of the best sports I know of! This season, my team, "Melbourne Mercs", had a fantastic year. We got third overall in Rural Ontario's Annual Tournament (ORSA) and went undefeated in league. For fastball championships, both me and my bro both won our age groups (me on Saturday & him on Sunday).

Also in the early summer we went to a family cottage where me & my dad got the most midday sleep we've had since...well, ever!! Yes...that trip was interesting though!

Our summer's not over yet...this weekend, August 20-22 is Melbourne Fair and I'm really lookin' forward to it. About a month ago I decided to upgrade my bicycle (and when I upgrade, I don't just settle for a little better...I needed to get the "top of the line" model).

In about a month we are going up to a family cottage in Forest, on a nice peaceful, private sand beach on Lake Huron.

That's about it for this summer of Colton Hathaway, but I'll still have fun in my first year in High School.
