Long Exhale...
It seems like I've been holding my breath for eighteen weeks. Alison (my great
friend) says it's my Virgo personality that makes me go a little overboard with
my endeavors. Roughly mid-march I called my first ball practice...over snow drifts
we went. It's now August 18th and the season is done. Some highs and some lows,
but much learning for the coach as well as players. Without much detail we went
undefeated in regular season play, finished third in our All Ontario Tournament,
got beat out of ORSA playoffs in the second round, but finished off with a League
Championship win. All in all a great year with a great group of boys and parents!
Now after a week of sleep, I'm looking forward to hockey with Wesley and winter fastball practices with Colton & some of his "non-hockey playing" friends.
But before all that...India & I are going to start our now 3 yr old geldings, Jac & Shorty. Hopefully riding within the month and through the fall, so we can take them to ride with friends in arenas this winter. Woody and I are just having fun counting cows!

Kate and Jake are fine. Jake is slowing down a bit, except when food is involved. Kate has turned out to be a wonderful dog.
No luck with purple martins this year...CRAP!! Oh well....there's always next year.
Hope this note finds everybody well.
Bye for Now :)
